Argall BID Safety Improvements PDF Print E-mail

The Argall BID Company are implementing arrange of initiatives to make the area a crime-free zone. Additional Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras are to be installed at Argall Avenue and Rigg Approach with corresponding digital sign boards. The cameras will give a visible deterrent to potential perpetrators of crime as all vehicles entering and exiting the area will be recorded.

To complement the cameras the BID is working with individual landlords to make premises safer by installing lighting, automated and static fencing/gates, and signage. A significant development for safetyand reporting crime is the addition of Security Consultant Peter Noseda. We are in the process of acquiring a security vehicle to increase the scope for surveillance and  patrol coverage throughout the area.
