Following a study by the Boston Consulting Group that indicated that businesses that have a presence online, grow four to eight times faster than those who don’t. On 22nd February, Google will meet Waltham Forest businesses to offer advice on how to make the most of the Internet and grow a business online.
The workshop is part of Google’s drive to help small businesses grow using the Internet and to help business owners harness new ‘e-skills.’ By encouraging a variety of businesses to use the Internet effectively, from entrepreneurs and one-man-band start-ups, to larger companies, the workshop aims to improve the country’s Internet economy.
The workshop is designed to support and advise businesses regardless of their technical expertise – from starting out and creating their first website, through to improving an existing website and online marketing.
The workshop will take place at Queens Road Learning Centre, 97 Queens Road, London E17 8QR (2.00-4.30pm) on 22nd February 2013. Spaces are limited so business owners are encouraged to sign up quickly at: http://www.gbbo.co.uk/googlejuicebar
